This is some of the art I’ve created over the years (and a good place to show a picture of some of my guitars). Once I catalogued this, I realized that I have to create more.
If you would like to purchase anything or commission something, please let me know.
These are some drawings from my sketch pad that I saved from back then.
I went to an art high school (Wexford Collegiate Institute) in Scarborough, Ontario. These are some of my pen and ink drawings.
We created silk screen art as well
In the 70’s, poster doodle art was popular. The original was poster size but it got ruined at school. But at least I was able to keep this copy.
Can you find all the strange things that don’t belong?
Some of these pieces of art have stories attached to them…
One morning, me and my two good friends from high school were on our way home on a cold winter morning. That’s Tom Alexander with his hands in the air, and John Campbell. Murray Bowers was also there, but only a bit of his face made it into the picture so I painted him out. Sorry Murray.

I started this painting in high school but didn’t complete it till a couple of years later. It was a big project that I was worried I wouldn’t finished. I took a separate picture of each band member it put it together on stage. A high school friend even offered me $500 before I was even close to being done. That was back in 1979 I think. I did this Frank Zappa on a T-shirt for my honorary cousin Barry. I couldn’t wait to get rid of it because the eyes followed you everywhere, and at night I would hear noises coming from the area of the painting.

As you can probably tell, I’m a bit of a Jimmy Page fan. I gave this painting to one of my best friends, Gord.

The quickest thing I ever painted and the one that gets the most praise. Go figure.

There’s a bit of a story behind this one, so bare with me.
To start off, this painting was a very shiny black, so the photographer wasn’t able to get a good shot of it without the white dots everywhere.
But why did I need a photographer? Back in 1992, Jimmy Page and David Coverdale were in town (Vancouver) recording their album, Coverdale Page. I took a picture of this painting along with a picture of my Led Zeppelin on stage painting, and went looking for Jimmy Page at the bars. No luck there, but I did tell the story to a new acquaintance of mine that knew someone who knew someone…
The next day at work she phoned me to say her friend knew Jimmy Page’s guitar technician. If I sent pictures of my paintings with a letter to the guitar technician, he would make sure to get it to Jimmy. So I got a photographer…
